My wife said to me, "Honey, let's go to church~!" But I answered, "I will do later."
My wife had long suffered from severe psoriasis and the cracking of her hands and feet. Many kinds of medications were not effective to her, and she also suffered depression. But she was completely healed after she began attending church. Afterwards she prayed for me with tears and kept on trying to guide me to the church. In October of 2004, I followed her and began going to church, but I was a mere churchgoer. I couldn't pay attention to the sermon but just drowsed during the service. Pastor Dongsuk Lee, ministering to Kangneung Manmin Church and my wife encouraged me and tried to plant faith into my heart.

Healed of Gastroenteric Disorder by Prayer

I had suffered from gastroenteric disorder and stomachache for 16 years, and always carried digestive medicines. Since I was 175cm tall and 60kg heavy, I looked skinny and was always sensitive and often quick-tempered. I had many reddish pimples on my face because of stomach disorder, and felt tired because I didn't sleep sound. I didn't look good all the time. That's why my desire was to eat anything well and gain weight.
In October of 2005, Pastor Heesun Lee visited our church and led the founding service of Kangneung Manmin Church and handkerchief healing meeting. I received her prayer expecting accidental healing, but nothing happened to me. My wife encouraged me, saying, "Honey, please do by faith until the end!" So I changed my mind, thinking, "OK, I'll quit taking medicines and commit everything to God!"
I also drank a lot of Muan Sweet Water and fell to sleep even though I had not enjoyed drinking it until then. But unexpected things happened to me next morning. I couldn't sleep well because of stomachache and diarrhea, and I had many difficulties at my work.
My wife told me God was healing me so I should believe it and wait for His complete healing patiently. When one week passed, my stomach calmed down and my face began to become clean. Two weeks later my digestion was recovered and all pimples disappeared. I came to realize God had seen my faith until the last moment and washed my stomach with Muan Sweet Water and handkerchief prayer, and then healed me of my gastroenteric disorder.

As My Soul Prospered, I Was Successful in Everything and in Good Health

After healed of my gastroenteric disorder, many things changed. At every meal I offer my sincere thanks to God in prayer. It is because I was always worried about indigestion before but now I can eat any kind of food and digest it properly. I've gained weight to the point of 75kg, and I have confidence in everything because I am happy in spirit and flesh.
This experience caused me to possess true faith. Dr. Jaerock Lee's life-filled messages I listen to every week are sweeter than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb. I came to worship God in spirit and truth during the service, and prayed without ceasing, and tried my best to live by the Word of God.
At that time there was a severe depression in the architect business in Korea, and as an architect I had to have severe difficulties in finance. I couldn't even afford to drive a car or have lunch sometimes. I left this matter to God and prayed fervently. Despite this financial trouble, my wife never complained, but looked at me with faith and encouraged me. Pastor Dongsuk Lee always interceded for us in prayer and confessed a good prosperity for us with faith.
At the workplaces I have tried my best to live according to the Word of God Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee teaches us, and walked the right way in any circumstances. In March of 2009, at last my trials came to a close. I did not do the business matters at my will and at my heart but attentively listened to other architects' opinions and worked with a sincere heart. I did not express any complaints despite frequent change of architectural design, and patiently served them.
In fact in some cases architectural design changes decades of times and most of architect do not want to work with them. But I could do it with gladness according to the Word of God telling us to seek the other's benefits. As that result, many clients were so touched by my deeds and introduced to me many architectural works.
Likewise, my work place is filled with many orders and I even make subcontracts and outside orders even though Korea has currently experienced continual decline in architectural field. Filled with the grace and blessing of God, my wife and I serve the church as Assistant President of the Finance Committee and President of Men's Mission of the church respectively, and have accomplished a happy family. We give all thanks and glory to God.
