In December, 1997, I was working as a guide for trainers and trainees of Daehan Investment Trust. One of them said to me, "The word of life has been proclaimed and the works of healing have taken place in Manmin Central Church."

Then, my wife and I attended Friday All-night Service of Manmin Central Church. She received Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer for the sick after listening to his message. Through his prayer, she was healed of her postnatal pain.

I also received healing of chronic herniated lumbar disc after receiving his prayer in May 1998. Through Dr. Lee's sermons, such as Genesis Lectures or Revelation Lectures, I came to lead a truly happy Christian life. I came to understand the deep meanings of the Bible verses that had been difficult to understand before. I also witnessed countless signs, wonders, and powerful works.


Commissioned as a missionary for the people in Thailand

In 2007, I heard a testimony of a Thai believer who said he had received a lot of grace through GCN (Global Christian Network). I felt my heart was burning because I had been interested in the ministry in Thailand and I began to arm myself with the holiness gospel with prayer.

I took part in the vision trip of MMTC (Manmin Missionary Training Center of Manmin Central Church) in 2009. Then, I applied for the position of a missionary in Thailand. I was finally commissioned to Thailand and helped the ministry of Chai Prakan Manmin Church that was the first branch church of Manmin Central Church in Thailand. I got to know local pastors there and met a revivalist and came to have many associative churches.


Laying a firm foundation for the missionary works through 'Power of God VI' DVD, Manmin News, and GCN

The DVD entitled 'Power of God VI', Manmin News, and GCN programs have laid a firm foundation for my ministry. I have visited many churches with my laptop computer and projector to show the video presentation 'Power of God VI'. I also published Manmin News in Thai and sent it to all churches in Thailand. As a result, I have received many phone calls from local pastors. I came to meet Pastor Nongnuk (Eden Gold Church). The ministry with him served as a stepping stone to perform greater mission works.

Pastor Sungchil Lee (Assistant Pastor of Manmin Central Church) led the handkerchief healing meeting (Acts 19:11-12) in November 2010. Through the meeting many churches registered as branch churches of Manmin Central Church. Pastor Nongnuk had a GCN satellite receiver installed at home after having his church register as a branch church of Manmin. Since then, he has enjoyed Manmin's praises, sermons, and testimonies everyday through its programs. He has borne so much fruit by receiving the help of the Holy Spirit in Daniel Prayer Meeting even though he doesn't know Korean.

Also, Sister Rosarine from Northern Thailand, who had been on the doorstep of death due to blood poisoning, revived! Pastor Nongnuk called her and had her receive Dr. Lee's prayer for the sick broadcast on GCN. Although GCN programs are broadcast only in Korean and English, the works of healing took place transcending languages.


After the founding service of Chiang Rai Manmin Church

Pastor Sungchil Lee led 'Chiang Dao Handkerchief Healing Meeting in February 2011. Four tribes from seven towns attended. In the Buddhist country, it was such a victory as we Christians achieved with the help of the local government of Thailand. Amazing powerful works with which even non-believers were healed unfolded. Seeing all these, we decided to open a Manmin branch church there.

We finally offered the church founding service of Chiang Rai Manmin Church on February 12, 2011. Pastors and believers from neighboring countries such as Myanmar and Laos attended, so it was crowded with guests. The president of the mission organization named Faith Vision that has trained pastors in Laos came, too. He came to know us after receiving grace through Manmin News. With his help, we held a Laotian Pastors' Seminar, which served an occasion to open the door of the mission in Laos.

Also, a radio broadcaster attended in the founding service. I gave him Dr. Lee's book The Message of the Cross. After reading the book, he stated he had been filled with amazement, "I am sure that Chiang Rai Manmin Church will be the best example among Thai churches since it possesses the word of life and the power of God."

He even helped us do our ministry through his radio station. He is working for CRU Radio which covers the border areas of Myanmar and Laos as well as Chiang Rai. Dr. Lee's sermon 'The Message of the Cross', Manmin Praise, and prayer for the sick are aired every Saturday.




Since Manmin Mission Center was incorporated

In May 2011, we hosted a meeting in the Juvenile Detention Center, Bangkok. Pastor Taesik Gil and his mission team sent for meetings in Pakistan and Sri Lanka stopped in Bangkok at the right time. Pastor Gil delivered the message and the performance team gave a special performance.

The Juvenile Detention Center gave positive assistance for the meeting. Juvenile Prison Governor of the Ministry of Justice, members of a political party, and members of rehabilitation committee also came to attend. The meeting was quite successful and bore much fruit.

It was a good opportunity for me to make Dr. Lee's ministry known to high-ranking officials who belong to the Ministry of Justice in Thailand. I showed them the video presentation that contains the news about Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee receiving President's Volunteer Service Award from the U.S. President Barack Obama, which impressed them. My wife and I were appointed as members of the rehabilitation center which belongs to the Ministry of Justice since our contribution was recognized through the meeting.

Moreover, everything related to the mission center's incorporation went so well. It is usually supposed to take a year, but it only took three months. Through this, we came to gain a foothold to make another leap in the missionary works. Hallelujah!


One who had been in coma revived through the handkerchief prayer

Sister Lotchana Poongsook who had been in coma due to a car accident in Myanmar was taken to the hospital in Chiang Rai, Thailand across the border. Missionary Jaewon Lee took the telephone message about her. When he prayed for her with the handkerchief of power she had already been unconscious for ten days. But as recorded in Acts 19:11-12, she then came around and held his hand, and she came to speak and move well.

The family evangelization was accomplished through Dr. Lee's book The Message of the Cross

Sister Wirai Prita who had been in trouble and about to commit suicide changed through Dr. Lee's book The Message of the Cross. Even her husband who had worshipped idols ardently accepted the Lord and he threw away 1,500 idols all at once. Since then, they have received abundant blessings.
