Deaconess Kyunga Cho (Suncheon Manmin Church)


In October, 2011, I sneezed and at that moment I felt pain in my left ear. The medical check-up revealed that I had otitis media with cholesteatoma. The doctor told me that it could impact on my brain and cause me to die if it became more serious. He wrote a medical treatment request that asked for me to be seen at a bigger hospital a week later and have an operation.
Right at the time, Pastor Heesun Lee, the Guidance Pastor of Men's and Women's Missions (at that time) and Manmin World Guidance Pastor came to Suncheon Manmin Church for its 1st Anniversary Service. I received her handkerchief prayer (Ref: Acts 19:11-12) and the severe pain disappeared. But I heard a humming in my ears and I could not hear well.
Afterwards, I attended the Daniel Prayer Meeting every night and prayed to discover myself and be changed. In prayer, God let me realize my ill feeling towards my husband who had not led a diligent Christian life. He showed me my desire to be served, my self-righteousness, and the stubbornness that was in me. I repented and tried to understand and serve others with a humble heart.
Then, I came to Seoul and received the prayer of Dr. Jaerock Lee. On May 4, 2013, it was confirmed that I was completely healed of otitis media with cholesteatoma. The disease is impossible to be cured naturally, and even with operation it can cause aftereffects and danger of reoccurrence. I give all thanks and glory to God.
