Sister Suthatip Lahan (Chiang Rai Manmin Church, Thailand)

I was guided to Chiang Rai Manmin Church by a neighbor and started to go to the church in April, 2011. I used to be a Buddhist, and I thought that Jesus was a mere human being. But Dr. Jaerock Lee explained about the four reasons why Jesus is the only Savior for mankind in the sermon entitled "The Message of the Cross" in a Sunday Morning Service. I received a lot of grace and accepted the Lord.
Recently, I experienced God's amazing work. My father had worked at a laboratory snake farm for a vaccine research institute in Bangkok for 20 years. In late August of 2013, his middle, ring, and little fingers were bitten by a laboratory cobra more than one meter. He was in serious condition.
The bite was big and deep, and the cobra's teeth went into his bones. He had to have his flesh that had rotted by poison removed for the poison not to be spread. He was given a 50% chance of survival in the hospital. Although my father was a Buddhist, he asked for the prayer. He opened his heart because he had received grace on a visit to Chiang Rai Manmin Church in 2012 and I had preached the gospel to him steadily.
At the right time, Missionary Jaewon Lee, ministering to Chiang Rai Manmin Church, was scheduled to come on a mission trip to Bangkok so I asked him to visit my father. My father waited for Missionary Lee with a longing heart and read the Manmin News that I had sent to him (www.manminnews.com) to receive his prayer with faith. Missionary Lee visited the hospital and preached about Jesus Christ. Then, my father accepted the Lord. Missionary Lee prayed for my father with the handkerchief of power on which Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12).
Before he received his prayer, my father had the infection squeezed out and received a skin graft. It usually takes a month to recover from a skin graft, but his affected parts started to heal right after the prayer. He was even discharged from the hospital two days after the operation. He has thrown away all idols he had worshipped and increased his faith in Christ by listening to Dr. Lee's sermon "The Message of the Cross". Hallelujah!
