A letter from abroad
| Manmin News No. 413 | 2014-11-16
On September 16, a prayer request was sent to Dr. Jaerock Lee from Mr. Sebastien Impeto, Governor of Equateur in DR Congo for terminating the Ebola virus.
"Please pray for elimination of Ebola virus diseases"
Shalom! I am sending my regards to my Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee in the name of Jesus Christ.
I am Deacon Sebastien Impeto, Governor of Equateur State in DR Congo. I give thanks to you for praying for me and renewing my life with the word of life. For the past six years my family has been attending Kinshasa Manmin Church in DR Congo. As we learned through the holiness gospel, we have kept the Lord's Day, attended Friday All-night Service, and given the tithe and offerings.
When I registered in the church, I was a high official belonging to Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Tourism. But after I received your prayer, I was promoted as a mayor of Mbandaka in the province Equateur. Pastor Jacob Lee, ministering to the church, prayed for me so that I can be led to blessings. Not long after that, the Governor of Equateur had to leave for Republic of South Africa for treatment of his disease. Then Joseph Kabila, President of DR Congo, appointed me as Governor of Equateur.
Currently, Ebola virus is now rampant in Jera in Boende of Equateur. President Kabila asked me to get rid of Ebola infection diseases by all means. I am asking you to pray for this problem. Thank you for your prayer, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to you.
Best Regards,
Sebastien Impeto, Governor of Equateur
