Brother Jacob Otieno Ojwang, age 26, Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church in Kenya

In August 2009, I was guided to Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church by Pastor William Wanyama who spread Manmin News on the street. I managed a diligent Christian life and in April 2014, I was blessed to work as a full-time worker for the church.

On March 23 in 2015, I was working on the roof of the four-meter-high structure because Ongata Rongai Local Sanctuary was to be relocated there. But suddenly some wood in the structure broke and I fell to the ground. I had tremendous pain in my back so I could not move and could barely even breathe.

The workers around me helped me receive Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer for the sick and rushed me to hospital. My X-ray scan revealed that my backbone was fractured. They said I needed surgery. But I wanted to receive healing by faith.

I had seen many people healed of their diseases when they received Dr. Jaerock Lee's space-and-time-transcending prayer or Bishop Dr. Myeongho Cheong's prayer with the handkerchief on which Dr. Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12). I witnessed them being healed of their diseases without any surgery and they had no negative aftereffects.

The next day, on March 24th, I received Bishop Dr. Cheong's prayer of handkerchief. I felt sensation return in my paralyzed legs and back. My doctor checked my condition and said I no longer needed to have surgery, but I was supposed to wear a belt to support my back.

Dr. Cheong prayed for me and suggested that I look back upon my Christian life. I realized that I had worked for God's kingdom not with love for God but with a sense of obligation. I sometimes complained while working. I started to repent. After his prayer, my pain was gone and I came to be able to move my legs.

On March 31st, I went out from hospital with faith. The next day, Dr. Cheong visited my place and I received his prayer again. Then I was given strength. I sat up from my bed, stood up, and walked by myself! From then on I recovered very quickly and on April 23, I was able to return to work again. Hallelujah!

On May 22, I went to Kenyatta National Hospital for a thorough check-up. The doctor was surprised to see me walk well without pain and see that I had become very healthy. I give thanks to God of love and to Senior Pastor and Dr. Cheong who prayed for me.



His lumbar 2 was completely fractured and the osteocomma was compressing his spinal nerves. But after the prayer he came to move normally.
