I couldn't hear well since childhood. I have heard that soon after I was born a discharge flowed down from both my ears.
As I grew up I could hear with my right ear to some extent but not very well. I could barely hear with the left ear, and later I couldn't hear anything.
When I was 20, I had a medical exam in a big hospital. The doctor said the eardrum in my left ear degenerated completely due to inflammation.
He said both ears needed surgery, but there was a risk of losing the hearing in the right ear, too, so I wouldn't get the surgery. It's probably the medical science was not as good 40 years ago. Since then, I often had discharge coming out from the ears, especially from the left one.
In 2017, I went to a hospital for my frequently blocked nose and received consultation for my ears, too. The doctors suggested I could get surgery now with the improvement in medical science. But I had already experienced power of God in Manmin Church. I was healed of my bacterial dandruff and recovered good eyesight by Rev. Lee's prayer. So, I decided to rely on God for the healing.
In every worship service I received the Senior Pastor's prayer for the sick with faith, and the discharges stopped soon. But I couldn't hear with my left ear yet. I couldn't understand others quite often at my work place, so other people always had to consider my situation. Also, I could talk on the telephone only with my right ear but the hearing was not good.
In this past March, I heard there was going to be a special prayer meeting with the speaker Pastor Soojin Lee. I wanted to get healed in the meeting and give glory to God. My heart was burning!
On Apr. 15, Pastor Soojin Lee prayed for the whole congregation with the handkerchief on which the Senior Pastor prayed (Acts 19:11-12). The fire of the Holy Spirit came upon me and my whole body was hot. I could hear the loud ringing noise in my left ear. I quickly blocked my right ear and tried to hear with the left ear, and I could hear the voice of the speaker praying. Hallelujah!
Now, I can hear the voice of the people with my left ear, with my right ear covered. I give all thanks and glory to God the Creator who has healed my ear that couldn't hear at all!
