My husband used to be a career soldier. He was once urged to get a big amount of loan and enter into a new business by one of his friends. But it ended up a failure and he had to be discharged from the military. He paid off many parts of the great debt with his retirement pay and we moved into the Geoje City of Keong-nam Province. He entered a ship company to make a proper living and tried his best. But the problem was his attitude to compromise with the world in faith.


Keeping on Compromising with the World even After Experiencing God's Love and Power

In 2002, my husband attended the 12th Two-week Special Revival Meeting Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee conducted and regained his eyesight through Dr. Lee's prayer. But he still thought little of drinking. I advised him not to drink but he told me it was just to keep pace with others and justified himself saying he never caused harms to anyone else by drinking.
God disciplined him in His love to let him realize his wrongdoing: he was once hurt on his knee; he tore up his head and got a few stitches; and so on. He seemed to repent each time such accidents occurred to him, but returned to the compromise with the world.
In July of 2010, 'tic' syndrome happened to our second son Philipp. A 'tic' is a sudden, rapid, repetitive movement (motor tic) or vocalization (vocal tic). As times passed, the tic syndrome worsened. A month later my husband came to realize Philipp was suffering from the disease because of his drinking and hot-temper, and then repented of all those things and professed not to drink anymore. After that the tic syndrome disappeared from Philipp. But to my embarrassment, my husband repeated the same sin.


Falling into Suspense of Breath after Drinking a Celebratory Drink about His Promotion

On November 5, my husband returned home drunk at 10 PM. He said he had drunk a celebratory drink about his promotion in the company. And he told me, "Honey, I am sorry I have not lived by the Word of God. Today I was notified of my promotion and persistently urged to treat team members a celebratory drink," and then lied down on the bed. Suddenly he said, "Call to emergency room of a hospital. My consciousness is being lost" and was found to cease breathing.
Immediately I let him receive Dr. Jaerock Lee' prayer for the sick recorded on telephonic ARS (Automated Response System) 3 times. On his behalf I cried with tears and repented of his wrongdoings. I earnestly petitioned to God and prayed for him to be forgiven. Intermittently he restored breathing but lost consciousness again. He repeated the same thing. I sprayed Muan sweet water over his body and put on his head the handkerchief on which Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed. I prayed to drive out the enemy devil and forces of darkness from him.
Some while later, my husband woke up and repented in a thin voice asking God to forgive him. And he apologized to me also. But in a moment he stared at me with bloodshot eyes and drew his last breath. His body was being stiffened. I hurriedly called Pastor Minhwan Ju ministering to Tongyoung Manmin Church who was at Manmin Central Church in Seoul for Friday all-night service. I cried to him "Rev. Ju, my husband has drawn his last breath. He doesn't breathe. Ask Senior Pastor to pray for him."


Brought back to Life through Dr. Jaerock Lee's Prayer

After listening to my earnest plea, Pastor Ju hurriedly ran to Dr. Jaerock Lee and received his prayer. It was shortly before Friday all-night service began and Dr. Lee was meeting a few pastors from branch churches.
Pastor Ju told Dr. Lee, "Senior Pastor, Deacon Jaewoo Cho in my church stopped breathing." He asked, "What's the matter with him?" Pastor Ju answered, "I don't know exactly what happened." Dr. Lee began to pray for my husband, "Let his heart function again! Let him live again!" It was 10:53 PM shortly before Friday all-night service. At the same moment, my husband coughed a deep cough and got up. His heart began functioning and he started breathing. But his body was not loosened. Fortunately he could speak, so he asked me to bring his parents and parents-in-law, brothers, and his sons. And then he repeatedly said, "GCN… Salvation… GCN… Salvation…"
It seemed that at the verge of his death he was making the will telling his unbelieving family to gain salvation through watching GCN TV.
I hurried to call each of them and let them come to my house, and then tried to comfort him, saying, "I've done what you told me to. Now you can be recovered and evangelize them. You can lead them to the path to salvation." And I turned on GCN TV and attended the Friday all-night service on TV screen. At the moment when Dr. Lee began delivering the message at 12:11 AM my husband's breathing was restored to normal and fell to sleep. Forty minutes later, at 12:50 AM, he yawned once and his stiffened legs and arms were loosened. He came to move his body. When Dr. Lee prayed for the sick after preaching, my husband said, "Amen." Hallelujah!


Spiritual Experience of God's Love

On November 7, after coming back from the Sunday evening service, my husband was lying on a couch at the house and suddenly fell to sound sleep. Then, his spirit left his body. He said to me later, "I saw my body lying on the couch. My spirit was passing through a dark and narrow tunnel. In the middle my spirit returned to my body with a sound coming from somewhere."
On November 12, he dreamed a dream, and said, "I was in the ship company and fell from the top of the ladder. My body was torn into pieces and blood gushed out. Two tall angels upheld my spirit shortly before the gushed blood came upon my spirit."
My husband and I came to Seoul to give thanks to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee for his powerful prayer. He prayed for my husband again and then dizziness and reeling sensation disappeared. He was completely recovered.
He said to me, "Honey! Through the incident and a few spiritual experiences, I really discovered fleshly things are futile. Now I'll throw away self-centeredness and lead a Christ-centered life. I'll never seek meaningless desires of the world. I've been determined to cast away slyness, lust and quick-temper. I apologize to you for causing you distresses. I'll live only to the glory of God and do my best to enter into the City of New Jerusalem in Heaven with you. I'll live by the Word of God and lead the life worthy for the recognition from the company. And I'll become a worker at the church, too."
I was so thankful to see my husband coming back to life again and how much more touched I was to hear his spiritual confession! I give all thanks and glory to God the Father.
