The Handkerchief of Power Revived A Dying Girl

| Manmin News No. 260 | 2011-11-13

Pastor Worapon Yingwatanakun (Chai Prakan Manmin Church)

On April 19, 2011, I received a phone call from one of my church members. She said Rotchana Pongsuk, her 17-year-old cousin who lived in Muangsat, Myanmar was in a car accident and had been in coma for a week. She came to Thailand by the help of border guards.

On April 21, when I first saw her, she was unconscious with general paralysis. We rushed her to Maeai Hospital. The doctors there told us to take her to a bigger hospital, so she was transferred to another hospital in Chiang Lai. Her doctor said she should receive surgery because there was a lot of blood clotting. I called and asked Missionary Jaewon Lee and his wife to pray for her. They immediately came to us and prayed for her with the handkerchief on which Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12). To my surprise, though she had been in coma, she opened her eyes and held the hands of Missionary Lee who had prayed for her. Hallelujah!

Not long after that, her condition had improved and she was taken to Maeai Hospital. Her doctor stated, "She had regained consciousness, but her brain was severely injured. There would be no way for her to live without disability." Despite what was said, we prayed for the girl with the handkerchief of power twice more with faith. Then, she came to speak and walk little by little. Now, she can walk by herself and has no difficulties in her life. Above all, she gained true life by converting to Christianity. We give all thanks and glory to Father God who manifested such an amazing work!
