Brother Bokho Han (Deaf-mute Mission)


My family is a multicultural family, and my wife from Malaysia and I are both deaf and mute. We got married in 2008 and had a daughter and a son. Thankfully, they are normal in hearing ability. It is the grace and love of God.


My unborn baby was likely to die or live in a vegetative state

I came to possess faith experiencing the delicate love of God in the process where my second child got healed of his diseases.

It happened in 2011 when my wife was six month pregnant. An ultrasound test result came out and my doctor said that a hiatal hernia of the fetus was suspected. Hiatal hernia is the protrusion (or herniation) of the upper part of the stomach into the thorax through a tear or weakness in the diaphragm. He told me to go to another large-scale hospital. We brought him to a university hospital and ran an in-depth medical examination. The result was like a bolt from the blue.

"His hiatal hernia is in such a very serious state that his heart is misplaced and the herniated part presses his lung. He is now in a danger so he is likely to die in the womb or even if your wife delivers the baby safely it is most likely he will die. Even if he retains his life, he will possibly live as a vegetable."

My wife and I came home and spent days in a shock and crying. Then, the vice guidance teacher of Deaf-mute Mission counseled us. He explained about keeping the Sabbath holy and giving the whole tithes. He also told us about why God couldn't protect our baby.

At that time, I didn't keep Sabbath holy and give whole tithes, either. But I repented of my past days after I met him and started to keep the Sabbath holy. I also made an estimate of the tithe of what I had earned in 2011 and offered it up to God. And I received the prayer of Dr. Jaerock Lee.

On August 22, 2011, my son Eunsu was born safely. But he had operations due to the hiatal hernia and groin hernia, so he had to stay in an incubator.

In October, 2011, Eunsu was discharged from hospital but he still had infantile asthma, continuous pulmonary hypertension, hyperbilirubinemia, patent ductus arteriosus, left lung hypoplasia, disseminated intravascular coagulation, and hyaline membrane disease. For us who are deaf mutes, it was not easy to raise him.


He came to be normal by the power of God

Senior Deaconess Hyunju Oh, who volunteered for Deaf-mute Mission, happened to know our situation. She attended Manmin Prayer Center's meetings for a year with Eunsu and prayed for his health with love and dedication. My wife and I prayed in Daniel Prayer Meeting.

Eunsu overcame several crises through Dr. Lee's prayer and the handkerchief prayer (Acts 19:11-12). We had heartache since we couldn't parent him well due to our infirmities. But we were just thankful because Senior Deaconess Oh took care of him well.

Eventually, Eunsu recovered health by Dr. Lee's prayer and he was healed of all kinds of diseases. Finally, he attends a kindergarten from March 8, 2013. We give all thanks and glory to God who revived my son who was doomed to death.



Brother Bokho Han's son had no possibility to be revived but he was healed of his diseases by the prayer of Dr. Jaerock Lee and he is now growing up well and is in good health.
