Pastor Yuri Kalmykov (Water of Life Church in Haifa, Israel)

Since he was born, my brother Pavel's heart was not in good condition. Five years ago, in 2008, he was experiencing heart disease and had a myocardial infarction. He even had a big operation that removed an aneurysm in his heart and stomach in August 2013. Worse yet, his rib was damaged during the operation and healed improperly, so he had another operation that fastened the rib with a metal pin. But it did not recover to normal and constantly had oozing sores.
In the middle of October, 2013, he entered the hospital again because of continuous problems in his heart. His electrocardiogram (ECG) seemed very serious. His heart became bigger and the heart beat was weakened, which caused blood not to be pumped properly and water to fill his lung—pulmonary edema. This made his breathing difficult and his brain was not oxygenated well, so he had to rely on a respirator. He was sitting up half way on the bed in an intensive care unit with intravenous morphine. He was wandering between life and death.
October 26 of 2013 was the day when God gave my brother a new life! On the day, Pastor Soojin Lee was leading the Israel Crusade in commemoration of Dr. Jaerock Lee's Israel United Crusade 2009. After she preached, she prayed for the sick. I received the prayer for my brother. Pastor Lee laid her handkerchief on which Dr. Lee had prayed on my chest, and prayed for me (Acts 19:11-12).
Right at the moment, a miracle happened to my brother in the intensive care unit in Russia that was thousands of kilometers away from me. My brother who received the prayer transcending space and time came to have a good physical rhythm and sleep well. He could get up from the bed on his own and started to eat food though he could not eat before.
He received in-depth medical examination, which showed his heart became normal. Even the doctors were surprised by the miracle. A few days later, my brother was discharged from the hospital. God is showing his powerful works through men of God even at present. Hallelujah!
