Brother Alain Lubamba, age 44, a member of National Assembly of DR Congo

I accepted Jesus Christ via a radio program during my college years. By the grace of the Lord I worked as an NGO representative and head in eastern DR Congo, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, and then Vice-Minister of Finance Department. Since 2011, I have worked as a member of National Assembly of DR Congo.

Not long after I became Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2006 I was involved in a false rumor in the church I had attended. I felt shocked, betrayed, and frustrated and stopped going to church. I just prayed at home. In February 2006 I saw Dr. Jaerock Lee's United Crusade in my country, which was a very big event. I watched it via the live broadcasting of the national television and received a lot of grace.

In February 2014, I became aware of Kinshasa Manmin Holiness Church quite by chance on my way somewhere behind a wheel. I pulled up and stopped to read a poster on a church door. I learned the church is a branch church of the church ministered to by Dr. Jaerock Lee who led the crusade! I was attracted to this church and visited it a few days later, where I received a church brochure. On next visit, I looked around its inside. Then my heart was moved and received urging to go to the church.

In March 2014, I attended the worship service in Kinshasa Manmin Holiness Church with my family. Pastor Jacob Lee, ministering to the church there, introduced Dr. Jaerock Lee and the ministry of Manmin and gave me Dr. Lee's book The Measure of Faith. Reading the book, I was taught there are fleshly faith and spiritual faith and each person will live in a different dwelling place in Heaven. This really astonished me spiritually. I realized I had very little faith.

Through Dr. Lee's book Heaven I & II, I also learned there are Paradise, the lowest level of heaven's dwelling places and New Jerusalem its most glorious place. Understanding the big difference, I was spiritually challenged and encouraged. After that I put my interest only in living by the Word of God and praying for my spiritual growth. In the meantime, I recollected the Word of God before I speak and act. My etiquette and knowledge were renewed by the Word of God, which changed my words and my actions.

A great change was brought to my family as well. I had thought they would be happy if I just earned money for them, so I didn't go with them during vacations. But I spent time with them for the first time. They all felt very happy. I no longer argued with my wife and shared God's Word with her at home. After Sunday Service, we talk about the messages preached and put them in our hearts again.

In August 2014, my house in the U.S. almost fell into someone else's hands. But I was able to hold on to the ownership by receiving Pastor Lee's prayer with the handkerchief on which Dr. Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-12). Also after receiving healing prayer from Senior Deaconess Insuk Yoon, wife of Bishop Dr. Myeongho Cheong (Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church), pain caused by a hernia which had troubled me for two years was gone.

God's powerful works manifested through Dr. Lee are really wonderful! I wish that my country will prosper in the will of God and the love of the Lord. I give all thanks and glory to God.
