Brother Binod Kumar Shrestha, age 37, Nepal Manmin Church

My wife's throat was swollen due to allergic rhinitis and asthma. She was also suffering from pain caused by the symptoms. When it became worse, she could not talk and eat. Even she had a hard time breathing. She went to hospital from hospital, got injections, and took many kinds of medicine. But there was no improvement.

Finally she started to rely on God. While praying, she stopped drinking and smoking that she hadn't been able to stop. She also received Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer for the sick recorded on the Automated Response System. Meantime her symptoms improved. In January 2012, when she received the prayer of handkerchief that Senior Pastor had prayed on from Pastor Grace Lee of Nepal Manmin Church, she was completely healed (Acts 19:11-12). Hallelujah!

Experiencing this healing work, she asked me to lead a proper Christian life and told me that giving a tithe is a way to blessing. But I was greedy pursuing material things. I didn't listen to her and just followed the worldly pleasure living in dissipation. My family was naturally in discord all the time.

In December 2013, I suddenly received God's grace. I started to give the tithe and lead a diligent believing life. Then God's blessing started to come down in my family and workplace. For no apparent reason, I came to hate drinking alcohol that I had liked very much. My family became a peaceful family that loves and serves one another. I had many construction contracts in my business. Before I gave a tithe, we had financial difficulty, but now we do not lack anything.

When April 2015 Nepal Earthquake struck my country in April 2015, we did not suffer any loss or damage whatsoever. I was put in charge of supervising the sanctuary construction and I was blessed to move to a house near the church.

In November 2015, Nepal Manmin Church had its 10th Anniversary Service and Rev. Heesun Lee, Manmin World Guidance Pastor visited the church. When I received her prayer of handkerchief, I was healed of pleurisy and epididymitis that I had had for the last ten years. I could not tell anyone about it, and just prepared myself with attending Daniel Prayer Meeting to be healed with faith.

My family is now in the Lord's love and peace. We are so happy. In 2016, I was elected as Vice President of Men's Mission. I am so joyful and thankful. I give all thanks and glory to God who has given me true happiness and abundant blessings!
