Junior Deacon Taesung Chung, age 72, Chuncheon Manmin Church, South Korea

With the sorrow of having lost my son, I had been living without any joy in my life. In March 2015, at the constant urging of Deaconess Myungsoon Kim who is my friend's wife, I went to Chuncheon Manmin Church. I did not know what belief is but I was moved by Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's good teaching and his sincere love for the members. I came to believe that Senior Pastor is always with me and prays for me. It comforted me and gave me happiness.

In August 2015, I participated in Manmin Summer Retreat 2015 and witnessed many people being healed of their diseases through Dr. Lee's prayer. Although a heat wave warning was in effect nationwide, it was cool and the air was refreshing in the retreat venue. As I experienced such a wonder, my heart was renewed.

On September 20, 2015, I fell down holding a glass. It damaged the nerves and ligaments of the fingers of my left hand. I had surgery in Seoul Joongang Hospital, but the doctor said that it would be impossible to recover full use. My hand felt numb, and I could not unfold my fingers, but I believed that God would heal me. So, I was not worried at all.

On October 4, I went to Seoul and received Senior Pastor's prayer. Then the pain was gone. Senior Pastor talked to me about not keeping whole Sabbath due to farming work and gave me advice. From then I started offering up Sunday Evening Service and praying. On October 27, I attended Gangneung Manmin Church's 12th Anniversary Service and received the handkerchief prayer of Rev. Heesun Lee, Manmin World Guidance Pastor. After I received the prayer, my pain was all gone and I came to be able to spread out my fingers (Acts 19:11-12). My ligaments and nerves recovered quickly.

In November, I sprayed Muan Sweet Water on my hair with prayerful heart every day (Exodus 15:25). Then a lot of hair grew and turned black. I felt so happy and it felt like I became young again.

Now it has become even darker. Five years ago I received a gastrectomy and from that time on I always suffered from indigestion. But after I drank Muan Sweet Water, I was healed. I once slipped on an icy road and hurt my head. After that I had no sense of smell. But on January 16, 2016, I smelled soup with fermented soybeans. It was so amazing that I went into the kitchen and tried smelling sesame oil. I could smell its strong aroma. My sense of smell that I had lost 26 years ago came back. Hallelujah!

I feel so thankful that I met this good church and can live by the grace of God now. I feel so free and easy because in Daniel Prayer Meeting and Early Morning Services I repent of all my wrong doings that I have done for seventy years. As I changed, my children felt happy. I give thanks to God for giving me a lot of blessings.
