"I was happy that I could run in the Lord's love!"

Brother Junghoon Yim, age 26, Young Adults' Mission, Manmin Central Church
Before Manmin Summer Retreat 2018, I was asked to run in the relay race in the Athletic Meet. I thought it was a good opportunity to glorify God, but it was not that easy for me to practice it since I had to practice after overtime work in the workplace. I was thinking of giving it up in the middle, but I didn't because I wanted to be the source of strength for the shepherd.
On August 4, I felt pain in my left thigh while playing soccer and it went worse and worse. It was hard for me to lift my leg up and walk.
On the first day of the retreat on August 6, Rev. Soojin Lee preached the message under the title of "Spiritual Realm" based on John 4:24. I was given faith to be healed and peace in my heart as well. After the message, she prayed for the sick with the handkerchief on which Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed and I felt the muscles in my left thigh moving. I was convinced that it was healed.
After the prayer, I tried moving my leg and realized that I had no pain at all. I was completely healed. Of course, I ran in the relay race in the athletic meet the following day and won the gold medal.
I had also been healed of pneumonia in the first retreat I participated in after I registered as a member of Manmin in 2006. I had had the disease on and off since I was four months old. As it was not cured, I constantly went to hospital. When I attended the retreat, I felt dizzy, had fever, could not eat, and had difficulties breathing even before the seminar of the first day. When I received Senior Pastor's prayer for the sick, however, I was completely healed of the pneumonia that had put me in such pain for 13 years.
I am so thankful to God for giving me good health so that I can even run. I give all thanks and glory to God who healed me and gave me faith. I extend my thanks to the Lord who cleansed me from sin and saved me. I also want to express my gratitude to Senior Pastor who allowed me to know God and the Lord and live a valuable life with hope for New Jerusalem.
