Deacon Ki-Sung Park (64, 2-13 Parish)


I run an office renovation and interior design business. Last May I went out to purchase some interior materials when my employee said on the phone, “A fire has broken out in the worksite.”

When I arrived 2 firetrucks and a police car were there already. The building was covered with smoke, and workers evacuated and waited. Firemen and other workers were removing ceiling materials to stop the fire from spreading.

I went to a corner of the corridor and received Dr. Jaerock Lee’s Telephone ARS (Automated Response System) prayer. After the prayer, I went back to the site. Thankfully, the fire was under control, but heavy smoke continued.

Soon, I received Dr. Jaerock Lee’s ARS prayer again, and the fire was finally put out, and firemen were removing smoke.

I could realize how faithful God is, and how well God guarantees Dr. Jaerock Lee’s prayer.

The cause of fire was a spark made when severing pipes in the ceiling. There was sound insulation attached to a wall which was very flammable, and there were many oil barrels on the ground as well. Above the ceiling were many highly flammable materials and electric wires covered with plastic. It could have been a far more terrible fire. Those who had worked in the similar construction site said that their site was completely burned to ashes. But my site was well protected by God. Hallelujah!

I came back to the fire scene to find that the air conditioning and heating system that I worked on had no problems. Furthermore, the fire didn’t spread to the part of the ceiling where a highly sophisticated system was installed. I could confirm again that God perfectly protected it.

All the firemen and those who were at the scene of fire said, “It could have been worse, but it’s the blessing of God. God helped control it.” The head of the entire construction heard this story, and he gave me more jobs.

I came to Manmin Church 30 years ago. As I heard the words of life, I believed that God is alive. I once had ruptured my wrist, but Dr. Jaerock Lee prayed for it, and I was all healed. Now I work for God as a Sub-district leader, and my wife works as a cell leader. I give all thanks and glory to God who saved me, and has blessed me with good business regardless of recession.
